This term our topic is story books. We are going to be looking at different storys we have chosen to link to our activities. The first week that we return we are learning about St George's Day, who he was and what he did. We will have different activities around the pre-school linking the topic such as castle knights and dragon toys, drawing activities and watching different story videos on the tv as well as reading the books.

We will also be growing our own beans (Jack and the beanstalk) as well as watching our caterpillars grow the week we are reading the very hungry caterpillar. Once they have formed in to butterflies we will release them outside. Its an amazing and exciting time over the weeks to watch them form in their different cycles and then to release them outside.

For the first week we are looking at saving our oceans and how we can help the animals. Then we are looking at healthy eating and living. The children will be able to try different vegtables aswell as fruits. The week of keeping clean th children will be making their own sensory clean my hand bags.

As the weather was so hot we had water play and used ice cubes in the water and the children loved it.
