Information about the Pre-school

Our Lady’s Pre-School opened in September 2011, in the beautiful new church hall of Our Lady of the Cray’s Catholic Church.

We were rated ‘Good’ for our first Ofsted Inspection, after only five months of opening, they gave a special mention to the very good teamwork and deployment of staff and the beautiful manners and good behaviour of our children - an excellent achievement, so soon after starting. We maintained ‘Good’ for our second inspection in November 2015.

 Our Lady’s Pre-School offers a very high standard of quality care, for children from the age of 2-5 years, in a safe and stimulating environment: for the inclusion of all children and to cater for their unique and individual needs. All staff are experienced, trained and qualified. All staff have Paediatric First Aid Certificates, Anaphylactic & Epipen Training & we have a highly trained and experienced Senco.

The pre-school manager, Anne Marie Glancy, has over 40 years experience in caring for children of all ages and abilities. Many parents know her through the Church and her previous work in school nursing.   We have a music teacher with over 20 years’ experience working with primary school aged children.

Our aim is to make learning fun within a vibrant, happy and welcoming environment; whilst teaching children traditional values and considerations i.e. supporting their moral and spiritual wellbeing in conjunction with their physical, social, emotional and intellectual development.

OPENING HOURS & FEES:

Monday-Friday (Term time only)

Morning session                                                  09.00am-12.00pm

Lunch club                                                            12.00pm-13.00pm

Afternoon session                                               13.00pm-16.00pm

Fee

£15.00 per 3 hour session: £5 per 1 hour lunch club

(Parent provides child’s packed lunch)

****From September 2024 the prices will be increasing to £16.50 per session. £5.50 for lunch club***
