Our Goals for Sustainability 

We are conscious of our responsibilities towards sustainability. We want to foster lifelong green habits. We are always looking for ways to embed eco-friendly practices and environmental education into our preschool curriculum.

It is critical to introduce concepts like waste reduction, water conservation, and biodiversity in early childhood, when children are forming their core values.

By engaging in hands-on activities like sorting recyclables, tending to organic gardens, and reducing energy use, our young learners develop a deep connection to nature and a sense of social responsibility.

Integrating sustainability into our preschool helps to protect the environment, reduce operating impacts, and empower the next generation to tackle global ecological challenges.

• Introduce our children to concepts like waste reduction and recycling, water conservation, and biodiversity.

• Where possible, purchase recycled products and those with good green credentials.

• Recycle our own waste: all compostable food and garden materials; plastics; paper and cardboard.

• Use digital communications as appropriate:

• Secure, online Learning Journals, enabling our parents and educators/key person to build a shared understanding of their child’s progress and potential.
