This half term we are learning all about road safety in Understanding the world. 

We will be looking at road signs that we see every day, stop and go, traffic lights and what they do, people that help us cross the road and where is the safest place to do so. The children will be encouraged to talk about their own experiences about what they have seen in their enivironement on the way to pre-school.

We will also be celebrating Martin luther King and who he was, as well as Burns night and what it is. 

This half term we are leaning about all different types of people that help us, starting off with nurses, we have a few parents that will be coming in for show and tell and talk about working in a hospital and what they have to do. We have the fire fighters coming to visit us with the fire engine for the children to enjoy. 

We will be learning about vets, paramedics and the police.

We will also be celebratting Holi the festival of colour as well as St Patrick's Day.
